Lil Nourish Co. is an online store and brand operated by Avador Business Group Inc., a New York corporation (“Avador,” “Lil Nourish Co.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Lil Nourish Co. sells products from the US directly to individual customers for personal and household use. Orders shipped to India are international consumer shipments and are not shipments of inventory imported by Avador Business Group Inc. or Lil Nourish Co. into India for local resale.
U.S. Seller
Products purchased through Lil Nourish Co. are sold by Avador Business Group Inc. in the US and shipped internationally to the customer.
Avador Business Group Inc., Lil Nourish Co., and their respective owners, officers, employees and operators do not act as the customer's importer of record, customs broker, customs agent, or representative before Indian Customs.
Personal-Use Orders
Orders shipped to India through Lil Nourish Co. are intended solely for the customer's personal or household use and not for commercial resale.
By placing an order for delivery to India, the customer represents that:
- the products are being purchased for personal or household use;
- the products are not being purchased for commercial resale;
- the quantities ordered are reasonably consistent with personal or household use; and
- the customer is the intended recipient and consignee of the shipment.
Indian Customs recognizes a customs framework for goods imported by individuals for personal use, including treatment under Chapter Heading 9804 where applicable. The actual classification, admissibility and customs treatment of any shipment remain subject to determination by Indian Customs and other applicable authorities.
Customer as Importer and Consignee
For orders delivered to India, the customer/recipient is the consignee and importer of the shipment in India.
Neither Avador Business Group Inc. nor Lil Nourish Co. acts as the importer of record in India for the customer's personal-use shipment.
By placing an order for delivery to India, the customer authorizes the applicable international courier, customs broker, logistics provider, or their authorized representatives to perform customs-clearance activities on the customer's behalf as permitted by applicable law.
Indian courier regulations require an authorized courier to obtain authorization from the consignee to act as the consignee's agent for clearance of imported goods.
The courier may therefore contact the customer directly to obtain authorization, identification, KYC documentation, declarations, or other information necessary to process the customer's shipment.
Customer KYC Requirements
International courier shipments entering India may require Know Your Customer (“KYC”) verification of the consignee/importer.
The customer is responsible for promptly providing the courier or its authorized customs-clearance provider with accurate KYC information and any other documentation reasonably required for customs clearance.
For an individual courier import, CBIC guidance identifies documents such as Aadhaar, Passport, PAN card or Voter ID as documents that may satisfy KYC verification requirements, together with recording the delivery address.
The particular documentation required may depend upon the shipment, courier, customs location and applicable requirements at the time of import.
Lil Nourish Co. does not need to collect the customer's customs KYC documentation when the documentation is being collected directly by the courier for customs clearance.
Customers should provide KYC information only through legitimate channels provided by the authorized courier or its authorized clearance provider.
Failure to Complete KYC or Customs Requirements
The customer is responsible for responding promptly to legitimate requests from the courier, customs broker, or Indian Customs relating to KYC, identification, authorization, customs clearance, or delivery.
If the customer:
- does not provide required KYC documentation;
- provides incorrect or incomplete information;
- does not provide required authorization;
- does not respond to legitimate customs or courier requests;
- refuses to cooperate with customs clearance; or
- otherwise prevents the shipment from being cleared or delivered,
the shipment may be delayed, held, returned, abandoned, destroyed, or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable customs and courier procedures.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Avador Business Group Inc. and Lil Nourish Co. are not responsible for delays, losses, storage charges, return charges, abandonment, destruction, or other consequences resulting from the customer's failure to satisfy the customer's importer, KYC, customs-clearance, or delivery obligations.
Duties and Taxes — Delivered Duty Paid
Orders to India are shipped on a duty-paid basis where expressly stated at checkout.
Where duty-paid delivery applies, the price or shipping charge collected by Lil Nourish Co. includes the ordinary customs duties and import taxes arranged through our shipping service for that shipment.
Payment of duties by or through our shipping arrangement does not change the identity of the importer. The customer remains the consignee/importer of the personal-use shipment even where Avador Business Group Inc. or its logistics provider arranges or prepays applicable duties and taxes associated with delivery.
Duty-paid shipping therefore does not mean that Avador Business Group Inc. or Lil Nourish Co. becomes the importer of record in India.
Additional charges resulting from circumstances outside the ordinary customs process—including incorrect customer information, failure to complete KYC, storage caused by customer delay, redelivery, penalties attributable to the customer, or other exceptional charges—may not be included in duty-paid shipping.
Customs Classification and Clearance
We may provide product descriptions, values, shipment information, and other documentation reasonably necessary for the courier to transport the shipment and facilitate customs processing.
However, Indian Customs and other applicable governmental authorities retain authority over classification, valuation, admissibility, assessment, examination, release, and other customs matters.
We do not guarantee that any particular shipment will receive a specific customs classification or clearance treatment.
The use or anticipated use of Chapter Heading 9804 for qualifying personal-use shipments does not override restrictions, prohibitions, documentation requirements, or other laws applicable to particular products.
Import Eligibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products they order may lawfully be imported by them for personal use at the destination.
The availability of a product for purchase on the Lil Nourish Co. website does not constitute a representation that the product is legally importable into every jurisdiction or under every customer's particular circumstances.
Where we become aware that a product cannot reasonably be shipped to a particular destination, we may refuse or cancel the order.
If we cancel an order before shipment for this reason after receiving payment, we will refund the applicable amount.
No Commercial Resale
Products purchased through Lil Nourish Co. for delivery to India are offered for personal and household use only.
Customers may not use the Lil Nourish Co. consumer checkout to purchase products for commercial importation, distribution, wholesale supply, or resale.
We reserve the right to cancel or limit orders where quantities, ordering patterns, or other circumstances reasonably indicate that an order may be intended for commercial resale rather than personal use.
Order Processing
Orders require processing before shipment.
For manual payment methods, including UPI where offered, order processing may not begin until payment has been received and verified by Avador Business Group Inc.
Customers may see Avador Business Group Inc. identified as the recipient or merchant in connection with payments made for Lil Nourish Co. orders.
Shipping and Delivery Estimates
Delivery timeframes displayed on our website, at checkout, or in order communications are estimates unless expressly identified as guaranteed.
International delivery may be affected by courier operations, customs clearance, KYC verification, regulatory review, weather, holidays, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Tracking
Tracking information will be provided when available from the courier.
Tracking may take time to become active after shipment and may update less frequently while the shipment is in international transit or undergoing customs processing.
Customers should monitor their tracking information and communications from the courier.
Customer Contact Information
The customer is responsible for providing an accurate:
- full legal name;
- shipping address;
- telephone number;
- email address; and
- other information reasonably required for international delivery and customs clearance.
The name used for the order should correspond with the consignee information and KYC documentation that will be provided to the courier.
Incorrect or inconsistent information may delay customs clearance.
If you discover an error after placing an order, contact us immediately. We cannot guarantee that shipping or consignee information can be changed once an order has entered processing or has shipped.
Delivery Attempts
The customer is responsible for being reasonably available to receive the shipment and for responding to legitimate courier or customs communications.
Failure to accept delivery or respond to a delivery request may result in additional delivery attempts, storage, return, or other action by the courier.
Customs and Regulatory Delays
Customs clearance and governmental processing occur outside our direct control.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Avador Business Group Inc., Lil Nourish Co., and their owners, officers, employees and operators are not responsible for delays resulting from customs examinations, KYC verification, governmental review, regulatory action, requests for documentation, customs-system delays, or other governmental processes outside their reasonable control.
Refused, Unclaimed or Undeliverable Shipments
If a shipment cannot be delivered because the customer:
- refuses delivery;
- fails to provide KYC;
- fails to provide customs authorization;
- provides incorrect recipient or address information;
- fails to respond to the courier;
- does not complete a requirement imposed upon the consignee/importer; or
- otherwise causes the shipment to become undeliverable,
the shipment may be returned, held, abandoned, or otherwise disposed of according to courier and customs procedures.
Any refund, replacement, or reshipment will be determined under our No Returns & Refund Policy, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Costs that arise because of the customer's failure to satisfy the customer's importer or delivery obligations may be deducted from any otherwise available refund to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Lost Shipments
If tracking indicates that a shipment appears to have been lost during transportation, please contact us promptly.
We may initiate or assist with an investigation through the courier.
Where a shipment is confirmed lost in transit through no act or omission of the customer, we will provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with our policies and applicable consumer law.
Damaged Shipments
If an order arrives materially damaged, contact us promptly and retain the product, shipping package, internal packaging, and shipping label.
We may request photographs or other reasonable evidence so that we can investigate the damage with the courier or supplier.
Incorrect or Missing Products
If we shipped an incorrect product or an item is missing from your shipment, contact us promptly with your order number and details of the issue.
We may request photographs of the products and shipping package to verify and resolve the issue.
Product Packaging
Manufacturers may change product packaging, labels, designs, or other presentation details.
Differences between website images and current manufacturer packaging do not necessarily mean that an incorrect product has been supplied.
Please verify the product name, size, variant, and other identifying information on the product received.
Allocation of Import Responsibility
For clarity, for personal-use shipments to India:
Avador Business Group Inc. / Lil Nourish Co.
- is the U.S. seller of the products;
- arranges international shipment;
- may arrange or prepay ordinary duties and taxes as part of duty-paid delivery;
- provides commercial and shipment information reasonably required for transportation and customs processing; and
- does not act as the customer's importer of record in India.
The Customer
- purchases the products for personal or household use;
- is the recipient/consignee and importer of the shipment in India;
- is responsible for providing required KYC and consignee information;
- authorizes the courier or its authorized representative to perform customs-clearance activities on the customer's behalf;
- is responsible for cooperating with legitimate customs and courier requirements; and
- is responsible for complying with requirements applicable specifically to the customer as importer/consignee.
The fact that Avador Business Group Inc. arranges international transportation or duty-paid delivery does not transfer the customer's status or responsibilities as consignee/importer to Avador Business Group Inc., Lil Nourish Co., or their owners or operators.
Limitation Regarding Indian Import and Customs Matters
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Avador Business Group Inc., Lil Nourish Co., and their respective owners, officers, employees and operators do not assume the customer's obligations or liabilities as importer or consignee in India and are not responsible for the customer's KYC compliance, importer declarations, customer-specific import eligibility, or failure to satisfy requirements imposed directly upon the customer by Indian Customs, the courier, or another governmental authority.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits Avador Business Group Inc.'s responsibility for its own acts or omissions where such responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable obligations arising from the sale of the products themselves.
Returns and Refunds
Shipping-related claims, returns, refunds and replacements are subject to our No Returns & Refund Policy and applicable consumer rights.
Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy excludes or restricts a consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
